Trip Itinerary

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the bustling streets and vibrant culture of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and ancient architecture. You can visit some of the popular tourist sites in Kathmandu, such as the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

In the evening, you will have a pre-trek briefing where you will meet your trekking guide and discuss the details of the trek. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and prepare yourself for the trek ahead. After the briefing, you will have dinner at the hotel and spend the night in Kathmandu.

On day 2 of your trip, you will have a full day to explore the Kathmandu Valley. After breakfast at the hotel, you can head out to visit some of the iconic attractions of the city.

One of the most popular sites to visit is Durbar Square, located in the heart of the city. The square is home to several ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards, including the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar, and Taleju Temple. The intricate carvings and intricate architecture are a testament to the rich history of Nepal.

Another must-see attraction is the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. The stupa is perched atop a hill and offers stunning panoramic views of the city. The site is considered to be one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal.

You can also visit the Pashupatinath Temple, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the most significant Hindu temples in the world. You can witness the cremation rituals that take place on the banks of the river and gain insight into the Hindu culture.

In the evening, you can return to the hotel and prepare for the trek ahead. You will need to pack your trekking gear and ensure that you have all the necessary equipment for the trek. You will also have a final briefing with your trekking guide and get ready for an early start the next day.

On day 3 of your trip, you will embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which is located approximately 200 kilometers west of the Kathmandu Valley. The drive will take around 6-7 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by a private vehicle and begin your journey toward Pokhara. The road passes through picturesque villages, lush forests, and terraced farmland, offering stunning views of the Himalayas.

As you approach Pokhara, you will be greeted by the breathtaking sight of the Annapurna range, which dominates the skyline. Pokhara is a beautiful city situated on the banks of the Phewa Lake and is known for its tranquil atmosphere and stunning natural beauty.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will check into your hotel and have some time to relax and explore the city. You can take a stroll along the lakeside promenade and enjoy the views of the Annapurna range reflected in the calm waters of the lake. You can also visit the local markets and souvenir shops to purchase any last-minute items for your trek.

In the evening, you will have a briefing with your trekking guide, who will provide you with an overview of the trek and answer any questions you may have. After the briefing, you will have dinner at the hotel and rest for the night in preparation for the trek ahead.

After enjoying a nourishing breakfast by the tranquil Phewa Lake, we will embark on a short drive through the breathtaking landscapes to reach Tikhedhunga. The road is gentle and takes us through the charming villages of Nayapul and Birethanti. As we drive, we will pass by stunning terraced farms lining the Bhurungdi Khola.

After Birethanti, we will continue on an off-road drive that will take us to Tikhedunga. From there, we will begin our trek, which will pass through the quaint villages of Sudame and Hile, before finally arriving at Ulleri (2073 meters) after approximately three hours of hiking.

Today's trek promises to be an exhilarating experience as we gradually ascend the trail. Along the way, we will be able to relish the stunning views of snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna, Machhapuchre, and Hiunchuli. As we make our way through the vibrant rhododendron forest, we may encounter some wild animals and come across refreshing springs and rivers. Eventually, the trail will lead us to the captivating settlement of Ghorepani, which is situated on a ridgeline.

The views of the Himalayas from Ghorepani are awe-inspiring and offer a glimpse of the majestic Dhaulagiri I, II, III, IV, and V, Tukuche, Dhampus, Nilgiri, Annapurna South, Barah Sikhar, as well as the iconic Machhapuchhre, also known as Fishtail.

Today is a special day for those who appreciate the beauty of sunrises. We will wake up early in the morning and begin our ascent to Poon Hill, where we will witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. From Poon Hill, we will have a panoramic view of more than 32 peaks of the Annapurna range, as well as Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Machhapuchre mountains. As Poon Hill is a renowned spot for photography, we will take advantage of our visit and capture as many pictures as we desire.

After spending time on Poon Hill, we will descend to our lodge, enjoy breakfast, and commence our trek to Tadapani (2,630m / 8,630ft). However, to reach Tadapani, we must pass through Deurali (2960m) and Bandthanti. If we arrive at Tadapani early, we can venture a little further to Chuile Village.

Today's trek will vary slightly depending on our location from the previous night. If we stayed at Tadapani, we will have breakfast and proceed towards Chomrong (2,165m / 7,105ft), passing through Chuile en route. We will begin by trekking through the stunning Ghandruk Village and then descend steeply towards the Kimron River before arriving at Chomrong. Along the way, we will be treated to breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Fishtail.

Chomrong Village is nestled in the foothills of the imposing Annapurna massif and is a popular overnight destination for those journeying towards Annapurna Base Camp. However, if we spent the previous night at Chuile, we will stop at Sinuwa for our overnight stay.

Today's trek is going to be a bit longer. It also differs a bit based on your previous night's stay. If you stayed at Chomorong, you will follow the trail down to Chomrong Khola on steep stones, but then the path ascends through the bamboo, oak, and rhododendron forests to reach Sinuwa. However, if you spent the night at Sinuwa, the trek starts from Sinuwa. You will get to enjoy the views of Machhapuchre and Annapurna snowcaps from the route. The way passes Khuldigar village, descends to Bamboo Lodge settlements, and ascends to Himalaya (2,890 m / 9,425ft). If you start the trek from Sinuwa, you will stay at Deurali for the night.

If we spent the last night in the Himalaya, (Himalaya is the name of the place)we will follow a route through the narrow gorge along the Modi Khola Glacier Valley, past more forests. We will also be passing a large overhanging rock known as Hinku Cave and the lodges of Deurali before making it to the entryway of the Annapurna Sanctuary, which ultimately takes us to ABC. However, if we slept at Deurali, the trek starts from Deurali itself.

Throughout the day, we will be walking close to the Annapurna glaciers. On our way, Machhapuchhre Base Camp offers us a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. However, we continue our journey northwest to eventually reach ABC.

From ABC, we get a 360-degree view of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South to Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), and Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare.

Today's trek takes you close to several huge mountains - including Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Paungda Danda, and numerous other peaks ranging from 6000 to 8000m in elevation. This might be the day, which you will never forget in your entire life due to the sheer beauty of the snow-capped mountains that surround you. We will spend the night at the Base Camp.

After reaching Annapurna Base Camp, it's time to begin our descent. We will take a route that leads us out of the Annapurna Sanctuary and the Modi River Valley. Our destination for the day is Bamboo (2,350m ), a peaceful and tranquil stopover point along the way.

After a tiring journey from Bamboo, we continue our trek towards Jhinu Danda. We begin by descending to Kimrong Khola and then gradually ascending through the serene forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and oak. Finally, we reach Jhinu Danda, a popular destination for its natural hot springs.

Jhinu Danda is a must-visit spot for many visitors as it offers a chance to soothe tired muscles in its relaxing hot springs. From the hot springs, we can also enjoy stunning views of the surrounding rhododendron forest and lush vegetation.

We have reached our final day on the trekking trails. After leaving Jhinu Danda, we follow the plain dust road along the right of Modi Khola. This part of the trek forms the most relaxing walk of the entire trip. After trekking for about three hours, we will reach Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi, where we will bid goodbye to the trails and drive through the picturesque countryside to Pokhara. We will be spending the night at Pokhara.

Early in the morning, we depart from Pokhara and embark on a scenic journey towards Kathmandu on a comfortable tourist bus. During the 200 km journey, we will be treated to picturesque views of the Marsyangdi and Trishuli rivers as well as terraced farmlands. The bus will make one final climb before we arrive in Kathmandu - the place where our adventure began.

As your trek comes to an end, we hope that you have cherished every moment and created lifelong memories. In the evening, Miracle Treks and Expeditions will host a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of the trek.

Today is your departure day, and depending on your flight schedule, our team will arrange for your transportation to the airport. Before you leave, we hope that you had an unforgettable experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp and that you will take back with you lifelong memories of the beautiful natural landscapes, the friendly locals, and the challenging yet rewarding trek.
