Trip Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by a representative of the trekking agency who will transfer you to your hotel. You can rest and explore the city on your own.

Today, you will have a full day to explore the cultural and historical sites of Kathmandu. The tour will include a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will return to your hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, you will start your journey towards Syabrubesi, the starting point of the Langtang Valley Trek. You will drive through the scenic foothills and along the Trishuli River. You will stay overnight in a teahouse in Syabrubesi. 

Today, you will start your trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. You will cross the Bhote Koshi River and walk through a dense forest of oak, maple, and rhododendron. You will stay overnight in a teahouse at Lama Hotel.

After breakfast, you will trek towards Langtang Village. You will cross the river and pass through the lush forests and traditional villages of Mundu and Sindum. You will also get to see the beautiful view of Langtang Lirung (7,246m) along the way. You will stay overnight in a teahouse in Langtang Village.

Today, you will trek towards Kyanjin Gompa, a beautiful village with a Buddhist monastery and a cheese factory. You will enjoy the scenic view of the Langtang range and the surrounding glaciers. You will stay overnight in a teahouse in Kyanjin Gompa.

Today, you will spend the day exploring the Kyanjin Gompa village and its surrounding areas. You can visit the monastery, and cheese factory, and hike to the nearby viewpoint for a panoramic view of the mountains. You will stay overnight in a teahouse in Kyanjin Gompa.

After breakfast, you will start your trek back towards Lama Hotel. You will retrace your steps through Langtang Village and pass through the traditional Tamang villages of Mundu and Sindum. You will stay overnight in a teahouse in Lama Hotel.

Today, you will trek back toward Syabrubesi. You will pass through the dense forest and cross the Bhote Koshi River. You will stay overnight in a teahouse in Syabrubesi.


After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. You will enjoy the beautiful views of the hills, mountains, and rivers along the way. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own or resting in your hotel.

Your Langtang Valley Trek and Kathmandu sightseeing tour come to an end today. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
