Trip Itinerary

Your journey begins with a scenic one-hour drive from Pokhara to Kande. From here, the trek kicks off with a gradual ascent through lush forests and charming villages, passing through the famous Australian Camp and Pothana.

The trail continues through rhododendron forests, leading to Rest Camp at an elevation of approximately 2,600 meters. This day involves around seven hours of trekking, rewarding you with stunning views of the Annapurna range. You will spend the night at Rest Camp, preparing for the next leg of the adventure.

After a hearty breakfast, the trek resumes with a steep ascent through dense rhododendron forests, offering glimpses of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. As you gain elevation, the forested trails open up to alpine meadows, passing through Low Camp and Badal Danda.

The views become even more spectacular as you reach High Camp, situated at 3,580 meters. This day's trek takes around six to seven hours and provides an excellent opportunity to acclimatize while enjoying panoramic mountain vistas. You will stay overnight at High Camp, with anticipation building for the next day's hike to the viewpoint.

An early morning hike to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint (4,200m) offers breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. For those with extra energy, an optional trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp adds to the adventure. After soaking in the mesmerizing scenery, you will begin your descent back to Badal Danda or Low Camp.

This day involves a total of seven to eight hours of trekking, balancing the thrill of reaching the viewpoint with the descent towards lower altitudes. Overnight stay will be at Badal Danda or Low Camp, where you can relax and reflect on the incredible journey.

The final day of the trek involves a gentle downhill walk from Badal Danda or Low Camp to Sidhing village, taking about three hours. This route offers a more peaceful and off-the-beaten-path experience.

Upon reaching Sidhing, a private vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Pokhara, which is about a two-hour drive. Arriving in Pokhara, you can celebrate the completion of the trek with a relaxing evening by Phewa Lake, reminiscing about the unforgettable adventure.
